Scope

Arm has evolved from its embedded and mobile roots into an important platform for servers, cloud computing, data centres, and HPC. This expansion creates opportunities in co-design, heterogeneous computing, and future procurement, while raising challenges in software maturity, portability, benchmarking, optimisation, and operations.

IWAHPCE provides a forum for researchers, developers, architects, vendors, and computing-centre operators to share practical experience in designing, deploying, optimising, and using Arm-based HPC systems. The workshop invites papers on Arm-based HPC systems, including application porting and optimisation, performance analysis and modelling, SVE/SVE2/SME vectorisation, programming environments, and system software. Other topics include heterogeneous platforms combining Arm CPUs with GPUs, networks, and accelerators; AI and machine learning; and hybrid quantum–classical workflows. Contributions using real hardware, simulation, or emulation are welcome.

The IWAHPCE 2027 workshop will be held in conjunction with SupercomputingAsia 2027, the annual international HPC event gathering the SupercomputingAsia community in Singapore. All accepted papers are expected to be published in the SCA2027 workshop proceedings.

Paper Submission

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. Paper format, page limits, and submission instructions will be announced once the SCA2027 workshop submission guidance is available.

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the PC members. The review process is double-blind; please do not include the names of authors or other identifying information in submitted manuscripts.
